From the reviews

Salt City Holistic Health and Shellie have changed my life. I have dealt with years of debilitating pain from endometriosis and practitioners who were quick to dismiss my complaints and just throw me on the pill. Shellie worked with me, tested my hormones and formulated a whole body plan free from artificial hormones.

So far the only yoga instructor I've had the pleasure of going to class under is Cassandra, but she's wonderful. Classes are slow-paced and welcoming for beginners like myself. The owner and her husband are delightful company as well, and every time they see me they greet me like they've known me for years.

This place is super cute and inviting! I have taken yoga here in the morning and it was the BEST way to start my day. The owner (Shellie) is also a very warm and knowledgeable clinician who is incredibly passionate about providing the best care she can for her clients. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Absolutely highly recommend Salt City Holistic Health! I’ve taken yoga classes here and recently had a full body massage by Audrey and it was AMAZING! They offer a wide array of classes and medical care/services, and everyone is so inviting and friendly!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
