From the reviews

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Genevieve! I’ve been seeing her for a couple of years now to help with my neck/back issues, and after each visit, I always leave feeling better & more relaxed. She also does cupping and gua sha, which is a nice added touch!

I have been meaning to leave this review for a while. I have been getting prenatal massages from Genevieve for a while now. She uses the pregnancy open belly cushion for the prenatal visits and it's soooo comfortable. Genevieve is thorough, patient, and extremely accommodating.

★★★★★ — Amy, Jan 2025

I cannot praise Genevieve and the exceptional lymphatic drainage therapy she provides enough. Her expertise, professionalism, and genuine compassion have been invaluable to me during my healing journey. Genevieve's knowledge in the field is truly remarkable.

★★★★★ — Diane, Oct 2023

Genevieve is highly skilled at what she does. Being someone who has was insecure and confused about their condition (some mix of CPTSD and being stuck in a frozen psychological and physiological state) I was unsure if this would be the right fit for me.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
