From the reviews
WOW. If I could give Kim Holman more than five stars, I would. I have been going to bodyworkers off and on for 40 years, and there is no question that Kim is the best. She has a bigger tool chest for modalities of healing than I’ve ever seen.
Kim is the most gifted bodyworker I've encountered to date! She knows what you need before you do. I went in for a shoulder pain and left feeling like a new woman! Even my sinuses were better! I highly recommend her to anyone, especially someone with chronic pain or a pain they've had for a long time.
Kim is very knowledgeable about anatomy and how the body works. She really has a healing touch. I have been going to her periodically for a couple years now and have benefited greatly from the work. She's awesome!
I don't know where to start. Kim has helped me more than anyone that I've seen in years. My body has been in knots, sore, tired, and stressed out to the point where I've needed physical therapy. While therapy has helped some, Kim has excellerated the healing process. My overall mobility has increased greatly.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
