UPDATE - A YEAR LATER. I'll give this place a 5 star rating now having been here a few times in the past year. I love the flexibility in their scheduling and I also love the massage experience (with cupping) over the past year.
I came to Royal Massage for the scalp massage trend that is going around and I wasn't disappointed! I did the scalp B and 30 min body. I assumed they'd be in the same room, but the body massage was first and it was so relaxing! The table was comfortable and the masseur asked which pressure was preferred.
I’m from Wisconsin and live about 45 minutes away, but it was absolutely worth the drive. I’ve been to a few massage places in my town, and I really believe that for a massage to be worth it, the therapist needs to have good hands—and this place definitely delivered.

What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
