From the reviews

Riah was amazing! Truly was an experience to remember and to tell others to come be a part of . Right was very respectful and professional. I had been in lots of pain for the last month prior to visiting Riah and took all my shoulder tension away.

Good service, my massage was excellent. I would say it was the best one of my life. I believe my therapists name was Rea. My wife's masseuse went a little too hard and did not listen after she told him no less than three times. We are also not used to massages and a bit of discomfort is part of the process.

Just wanted to say thank you to Tiffany for taking the time to let me know about the different massages since I never had one and didnt know what to get. Can't wait to book.

Today, I had Jocelyne as my therapist. Her technique, skill, knowledge, compassion and friendliness made this of my best massages in a long time. She found trouble spots and worked them, regularly asking if I was good with the level of pressure. Her hands were strong!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
