What clients say about the cupping here
“I’ve been having chronic neck and shoulder pain from work and have tried everything but nothing seemed to help for any considerable amount of time.”
“Aside from Jessica herself being an excellent and professional practitioner, the highlight of the treatment was the Celluma light therapy that was done while the needles were doing their magic.”
“This was my first time receiving acupuncture and she did a thorough intake with me and listened to all my concerns and gave me super helpful tips to manage my pain and other health concerns.”
“His calm demeanor and expert technique put me at ease, and I could feel the tension melting away as the session progressed.”

From the reviews
After noticing a constant pain in my back, I was recommended Root and Stem by my colleague. I booked an appointment with Grace who was beyond wonderful, an actual angel on earth.
I had a great treatment with Dr. Jessica! Her needling style is gentle and really helped me feel calm and relaxed. She also gave me cupping for my back which helped relieve tension and reduce pain. She's super chill, and I felt well taken care of. Definitely recommend!
Here’s a polished, practical, and deeply insightful five-star review that captures your experience without drifting into cliché—just grounded, sincere praise with your signature Kenny warmth: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Transformative Session with Dr. Andrew — Truly Exceptional I just had a session with Dr.
I was skeptical of the healing benefits of acupuncture, but after one session with Andrew Eng, I'm a believer. I am an active performance artist and have chronic neck and back pain. Andrew took the time to understand my specific concerns and tailored the session to address them directly.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
