From the reviews
Down time is a must when your schedule is fully booked. Absolutely wonderful seeing Alicia as always! Very attentive to your needs which is much appreciated. Had the heart cupping done this time with a forearm massage and can say was not disappointed. Will be coming back thank you!
alicia was amazing, i’ve never had a massage before so I was unsure on what to expect but I will for sure be going back!
Alicia consistently gives high quality therapeutic massages that are not only relaxing, but that also relieve tension and increase range of motion for weeks following each massage— probably the best massages I’ve ever received.
I had severe lower back pain for months and Alicia has been able to help me be more mobile and almost eliminated the pain. She is very knowledgable and very easy to work with.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
