From the reviews
Tony @ Resilient Rx is the PT GOAT! Known to Ortho doctors as "The Body Whisperer" I was referred to Tony by my doctor when I was desperate and down after attempts to get my life back from multiple joint surgeries. Tony's knowledge and treatment options are impressive.
If you are a serious athlete in need of help, look no further - Tony is your guy! I’m a 34y/o All-American HS and College athlete who has seen and rehabilitated every injury under the sun in the past few decades.
After goofing up my leg (calf) due to what I believe was an overuse injury, I recognized my injury was not going away on its own just with rest. As a fellow runner and CrossFit athlete, I felt confident that Tony could not only assess my injury, but help me get back to performance condition as soon as possible.
Tony has been my PT for the past year and a half and it has been such a life changing experience. He’s so knowledgable in his field and as a track athlete I’ve seen tremendous results. If you’re an athlete he’s the right fit you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
