“The therapist was not only helpful but also very knowledgeable about different techniques that could alleviate the pain.”
“I really enjoy that she explains the muscle groups and what she is targeting, as well as what it’s connected to and how it affects where we feel pain.”
“Her pressure was also perfect for me, I like a lighter pressure but her pressure was light enough where I was fully relaxed but enough to get my knots out.”
“I was a former gymnast and do Crossfit, so old nagging injuries and new soreness are normal for me.”
“This was my first visit with Elsa and I was made to feel very welcomed and her energy showed me I was in good hands.”
From the reviews
I recently had a session with Elisa to address my lower back pain, and I must say it was an incredibly positive experience. From the very first session, I felt a significant relief in my lower back. The therapist was not only helpful but also very knowledgeable about different techniques that could alleviate the pain.
I found IMPRINT Body Work through a google search and I am So glad I went. I’m a touring theatre actress and was dealing with some pretty intense muscle tension from the physical demands of the show. Elisa took the time to really understand what I was feeling and why it was happening.
Elisa was incredible. She took the time to figure out exactly what I needed, and then executed it perfectly. I’ve had painful knots under my shoulder blades for months, and she taught me how to breathe through it while she carefully worked them out.
Awesome experience being worked on by Elisa. She was so informative, communicative and intentional. I left feeling more connected to my body. Highly recommend Imprint Bodywork
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
