From the reviews
I met Maya through friends when I was struggling with lower back pain. She recommended using CBD to help reduce inflammation and explained how it could support muscle recovery. During the session, she performed a soothing myofascial release massage, focusing on the areas where I had the most tension.
I’ve been seeing Maya twice a month for nearly eight years, and her work has been an essential part of my wellness routine. Maya always starts by asking what I've been doing, any areas to concentrate on, any pain or limitation, and how I'm feeling in general.
I’ve known Maya for five years, and during that time she has shared not only her professional skills but also her beautiful spiritual side. Her Swedish recharging massages leave me feeling renewed, balanced, and deeply relaxed.
I’ve been dealing with an autoimmune disorder, and part of my protocol included lymphatic massage. That’s when I found Maya and decided to purchase a package of six sessions.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
