Always professional; always personable. In my case, PT Link delivers knowledgeable help for a resistant condition. This is true therapy utilizing multiple modalities, and it’s flexible according to the individual patient’s needs and abilities.
I was greeted upon my arrival and asked to fill out a form. I was then seen by Jake. He was nice, informed, and showed me some self exercises to do at home. Yesterday was my first therapy appt.with Rick. He, too, was very nice. He showed and helped me with many exercises in the pool.
The therapists assigned to me were invested in my recovery. They pushed me and more importantly, backed me off when movements were more than I could handle. Their encouraging attitudes kept me going thru a difficult time for me. Their knowledge in using alternate techniques gave me confidence that I would recover
What can be said for my health? As a full time professional wedding photographer I spend countless hours in front of a computer. Over the last few years the muscles in my neck have declined quite a lot. On top of that, I workout roughly 8-10 hours a week weight lifting.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
