I rarely take the time to add comments to a rating, but in this case I think it is necessary. I was having lower back problems, which required some physical therapy. I went to another healthcare provider other than Progressive Rehab for PT and had minimal improvement.
I have had a great experience!!! Everyone at the front desk is awesome.i went in with tendonitis and I am scheduled with Andy, he's awesome!! I was in last year for back pain- Savannah and Matt saw me then, they are awesome too!!! The therapist's know the exercises I should do for my painful area's.
I had been experiencing vertigo for several weeks and finally went to my primary care physician who, after some examinations, decided to send me to a physical therapist that specializes in vertigo cases.
This is the second time that I have come to Progressive Rehab in Coralville. The first time they helped me completely so years later I knew that if I ever got injured in anyway, I would go back to Progressive Rehab. I worked with Matt and Brittany and again, they helped me out more than I could’ve ever believed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
