From the reviews

ProClinix in Armonk has been a great place for me. I got P/T for my shoulder (impingement) about 10-12 years ago. It took a bit of time to improve, but the pain was gone after a few months. I continued the exercises for a few years after that and have not had an issue since!

★★★★★ — James, Apr 2025

My experience at ProClinix (Armonk) with John, Michael, and Matt provided exceptional service during my ACL repair. It's always beneficial to have a supportive and knowledgeable team of professionals during the recovery process.

★★★★★ — Karina, Feb 2024

I work with Mike and Emily at ProClinix. Mike and Emily are very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, punctual, and great to work with. My surgery was performed by HSS and Mike communicates extremely well with my team there.

★★★★★ — Christian, Apr 2026

Unfortunately I tore both of my ACL’s a few years apart. Thankfully I had Brian and his staff to assist me during these difficult times. With their therapy I was able to recover quickly and return back to physical activity fully without any pain or discomfort.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
