What clients say about the cupping here
“I first started seeing her when I had a broken foot and she has used a stimulator to help alleviate the pain and get me back on my skates playing hockey relatively pain free.”
“I've had prior experience with acupuncture for other type of healing, but not anxiety, and never from practitioners as skilled as Rose.”
“She is a professional, who listened to my needs, worked with my major issues, and created a custom approach to target solving my problem areas.”
“Through the process, I felt very comfortable - she has a carefully crafted environment to elicit this, one that smells marvelous and looks even better.”
“I only wish I could stay for an extra hour for a nap because sessions with Rose allow my nervous system to completely unwind and put me into a meditative state.”
From the reviews
I was hit by a car on my bike a couple years ago and have suffered intense back pain since then. Some nights so intense I couldn’t sleep. After seeing multiple doctors and back specialists who couldn’t help, I resigned myself to living in pain and giving up some of the physical activities I love.
I loved working with Rose on a recent shoulder injury I was recovering from. She's so conscientious, thoughtful, and curious when doing her acupuncture and other services. Not only did she do acupuncture, but also recommended cupping which made a huge difference in my shoulder flexibility and tightness.
Rose is an amazing gifted healer! I've got chronic shoulder problems from over 30 years of surfing, being very active, gym/weights and carrying my young daughter more than I should. Rose treated my shoulders with expert acupuncture and cupping and gave me some much-needed energy work, too.
I rarely write reviews but my experience with Rose was truly incredible. I go back for my second appointment today and I can’t wait. I have never felt more heard, seen, and cared for in an appointment of any kind ever. The whole experience brought me to tears.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
