From the reviews

I have seen Antonella a few times now and I can confidently say she is the best massage therapist in the greater San Diego area. I am an exercise enthusiast, from lifting weights to running to yoga I do a lot and get injured from time to time.

★★★★★ — Gus, May 2026

Had the best experience recently with Antonella at KillaNuna! She is personable, kind, and truly skilled at what she does. This was my second time experiencing a KillaNuna massage like this. Antonella made me feel comfortable the entire time, she has very unique style that she will customize it around your needs.

★★★★★ — Alex, Jan 2025

Recently, I had my introductory treatment with Antonella, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. After years of dealing with sports-related injuries, I was hoping to finally find relief from the chronic pain in my shoulders, neck, chest, and lower back.

★★★★★ — Chris, Nov 2025

I often have intense tension and stress that collects in my lower chest and diaphragm—sometimes lingering for days or even a week, making daily life difficult. This leaves me with worry, unsure when that tightness will ease up.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
