From the reviews
I am an elderly woman with scoliosis and came to the clinic with spasms in my back that no amount of prescribed muscle relaxers or bed rest helped. In a very short time the adjustments by Dr. Strahl allowed me to carry on most of my usual activities.
The team at Optimal Health are fantastic! Favi at the front has a welcoming face and is a helpful guide for scheduling and insurance inquiries. Erik in PT, instills proper form with exercises as well as an encouraging attitude and knowledge on all he does. Dr.
I have been seeing Dr. Strahl for several months. I have had back problems most of my life with scoliosis and injuries. While I have on-going problems, Dr. Strahl has given me a lot of relief. I would highly recommend him. Everyone in the office are very caring and nice to work with.
A truly incredible staff. This office houses a Chiropractor, a Physical Therapist, and Massage Therapist all under one roof. This amazing group of people are not only helping me physically, but they have been a tremendous help for me mentally as well.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
