From the reviews

Jess played an integral role in my fertility journey. After enduring recurrent pregnancy loss, I turned to Jess to reset my mindset and prepare my body for pregnancy. With her guidance, I focused on reducing environmental toxins and optimizing fertility, thyroid, and gut health through herbal therapy and acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Meagan, Feb 2024

I met with Lainey to discuss my new vegetarian diet. She helped me understand what supplements would best support my diet and how to find a balance between supplements and food sources. She clearly knows what she's talking about, and is so friendly and easy to talk to.

★★★★★ — Michelle, May 2015

(Posted on behalf of my Dad.) I have been working with Jess for a few months. I have prostate cancer and I recently reacted poorly to a new radiation treatment. As a result of this negative treatment experience, I was very tired, disoriented, and could barely walk.

★★★★★ — Nate, Aug 2023

Lainey (the nutritionist) is fantastic; I could not recommend her more highly! I am always impressed by the way she combines an extensive knowledge of nutrition with creativity and enthusiasm. She is easy to connect with and an excellent motivator.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
