I have been seeing Blake for a few months now for tennis elbow. I was in tremendous pain with it and limited to what I could even do. Thanks to Blake I am back to doing my exercise classes and lifting weights again. The pain is basically gone and able to function again.
I had a partially torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I lost muscle tone in my upper arm. Victoria's expertise and treatment plan helped with eliminating pain and restored my upper left arm muscle tone.
I worked with Marshfield Physical Therapy on Snow road, prior to and after my hip replacement in December. Victoria, my therapist, was very knowledgable, knew what treatments and exercises would help the most, and always asked for feedback from me on how my hip was feeling.
After the care I received from Victoria Rose, I woudn't go anywhere else! She did an amazing job of listening and being empathetic but pushed me enough that I saw real progress very quickly!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
