My first acupuncture experience was a breeze! I managed to get an appointment the same day due to a cancellation. I was experiencing contractions and back pain. I received an evaluation and treatment on the same day! I tried the dry needling and ear seeds, and I highly recommend them.
Eric is so knowledgeable. He is a great teacher and he takes his time explaining everything you need to know. My knees were in so much pain. I tried everything (cortisone, dry needling, HA shots, etc) and nothing worked. Eric did acupunture with stem and it helped tremendously.
I had my first acupuncture with Eric and it was a 5 star experience. He creates a comfortable and relaxing environment and explains exactly what he's doing throughout the treatment. I came in for stress, tight and tense muscles throughout my body and left feeling incredibly relaxed and refreshed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
