I thought when my Chiropractor of 10 years closed, I would never find another Doctor like him. Let me tell you I have found a jewel! Dr. Sam is very kind and caring. He gets to know his patients so he can help them even better. He listens to you and explains things. Dr. Sam never rushes when I am in there.

★★★★★ — Misty, Dec 2025

Excellent care. I have never felt just like another patient being pushed through his office. Each appointment has been given the one on one attention necessary to resolve issues. Dr Sam corrected my shoulder issue that I had been dealing for a long time by also showing me stretches to do at home.

Dr. Gatz is awesome! He is great with children - easy going and friendly. He takes a genuine interest in his patients. He and my kiddo have such a great rapport. Dr. Gatz always listens and addresses our concerns. He always works out any pain or stiffness and my pre-teen athelete leaves feeling good as new.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
