From the reviews
Anita is kind, caring, and incredibly welcoming. I've now had five or six treatments with her, and the results have been amazing. From my very first visit, I was impressed by how intentional and thorough she was.
I received the cupping and facial gua sha services and they exceeded my expectations. I walked in feeling tense and left feeling refreshed and pain-free. The gua sha gave me a mini facelift. Anita explained everything clearly, and the environment was clean and calming. My body hasn't felt this good in a long time.
Never tried cupping before, but figured I'd give it a try. Anita, the owner, explained everything as she went, which helped a lot since I had no idea about the whole process. I left feeling looser than I came in. As a student-athlete, I'd say it's definitely something others should explore. Glad I tried it
I had acupuncture done. Anita is through in her work and really cares in her patience progress. I have not felt this good for years. Thank you!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
