From the reviews
I absolutely loved the massage I got from Ashley here this past weekend. For starters, it was my first time coming here ever, so I didn’t know exactly what they expect. My expectations were a damn good massage. And boy did Ashley blow away my expectations with her service.
I had a lymphatic drainage massage from Cindy and it was amazing! I recently had foot surgery and have had trouble with pain and swelling. I went to a physical therapy appointment before the lymphatic drainage massage and my physical therapist could only work with me for 30 minutes because of how swollen my foot had…
I have received professional massages for years and this was my husband and I's second time coming to Center Ave for a couples massage and we continue to leave feeling overwhelmingly impressed with our experience. My husband enjoyed his massage by Monique.
Center Ave never disappoints. This place is much better than the others in the area: it's got better therapists, it's cleaner, and more reliable than the competition. I've now worked with Kevin for nearly a year. He's the best I've ever had! As long as he's there, I'm going to keep rebooking.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
