From the reviews

I love Nawei's. I have a nervous system issue and acupuncture helps me so much. I have almost fallen asleep quite a few times because it is so relaxing. Everyone is nice and professional. I have also had cupping done and used their herbs, which were helpful as well. I highly recommend them!

Amazing! I saw Dr Anna, she was extremely knowledgeable and did a great treatment of acupuncture and cupping for a recent ankle surgery. Today, I can walk almost normal and minimal pain. I will continue to see her for any ailment. Chinese medicine is the way to go!

I have had multiple acupuncture treatments with Dr. Nawei and Dr. Anna for ongoing medical issues related to cancer treatments and surgery. Both Doctors are adept acupuncturists with extensive knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

My neck locked up on a vacation to Colorado Springs. I couldn’t move my head without massive shooting pain up my neck and through my temple. Dr. Nawei did acupuncture on my neck and 30mins later 80% of the pain was gone and it resolved entirely within a week. She saved my family vacation!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
