LPAAC is wonderful. They are very veteran friendly and I never have to wait long to be seen. They go above and beyond with appointment availability with saturdays and evening appointments as well as normal business hours.

I was referred to LPAAC through VA. Morgan is my massage therapist and she does a phenomenal job with my shoulders, neck and back. She also does hot stones and suction cups and I always leave feeling absolutely refreshed and looming forward towards my next appointment. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Dr. Galya is the best acupuncturist I have ever seen. She knows all the current treatments and adds original Chinese medicine to further the quality care she gives to all of her patients. I have seen a multitude of doctors and Dr. Galya is by far my best care giver. Thank you! I am so fortunate to have her on my team.

Not gonna lie—this was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Marji is the real deal. She’s incredibly skilled, but also just a genuinely good person. Super friendly, easygoing, and makes you feel comfortable right away. What really stood out to me was her compassion.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
