From the reviews
I had gained a lot of weight and am experiencing digestion issues and decided to try cupping. It is getting to the root cause of my digestion channels and she alternates on my stomach & legs, then next session on my back. In about a week I have released so much swelling around my abdomen, legs and back!
I went to see Dr. Hong Ma for idiopathic nerve pain that I had experienced for several weeks. I was also having shoulder and lower back pain. Sessions with Dr. Ma has helped tremendously. I tried acupuncture and cupping and I definitely feel better. Dr.
Dr. Ma is just amazing!!! She is not only knowledgable but also caring, compassionate & listens to your concerns. I have fibromyalgia & migraines and she's helped me through cupping & guasha. The constant knots in my shoulder also feel great after a treatment session with her.
I've been to see Dr. Hong Ma many times for treatment due to severe back pain. Her acupuncture and cupping treatments be helping very much. She is very kind, knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend her for any type of problems you may be experiencing
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
