From the reviews
Dr. Cheryl is incredible!! I went in for my sciatica pain that I’ve been dealing with. I tried many physical therapy solutions and nothing was working. Still woke up with nerve pain that lasted throughout the day and it was brutal. Finally, I made the decision to meet with Dr. Cheryl.
I can't recommend this place enough! Cheryl is a great acupuncturist and doctor who is truly an expert in her field. I went to Cheryl for a number of issues, and after only 5 sessions I noticed a massive difference in my body. I had more energy and felt a feeling of overall wellness that I haven't in years.
Cheryl is absolutely amazing! 🤩 she listens to your concerns and really cares about her patients. She’s really helped my gut and my pain. She’s also a herbalist wizard! 🧙 Also Elizabeth and Maggie at the front desk are really welcoming and are great humans. Maggie so knowledgeable!
I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Cheryl, Elizabeth, and Maggie. I was referred to Cheryl by a close friend for fertility treatment after experiencing recurrent pregnancy loss, and from the very first visit, I felt completely supported and cared for.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
