From the reviews

I've been going to Dr. Nan for a few weeks now and it's been a terrific experience. I had never tried acupuncture before and I think it will forever be a first line of treatment for me. Dr. Nan was great on my first visit in explaining what acupuncture is and how it works, all before beginning the treatment.

Dr. Nan is very professional and I’ve had very good treatment for my wrist pain. I am happy to have the treatment to release my pain, I’ve been seeing him for 4 months now and it really helped me a lot. I’ve never had acupuncture before and Dr.

We moved here last year (2015) and not long after found Dr. Nan within walking distance of us!! He is so funny and a great TCM/Acupuncturist doctor! He has helped reduce my migraines, sleep better and this past week I had some digestive issue , got food poisoning or flu or IDK what, but vomited for two hours a week…

I came in initially with lower back pain and over a few sessions through acupuncture and dry needling, I was healed. I’m so glad I found an acupuncturist so close by who’s very efficient and good! He listens to your concerns and treats everything you need. It’s a clean office with friendly service. Thank you!!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
