From the reviews

Recently went this past friday and was seen by Jessica and Johanna and was not disappointed! Jessica was very kind and informative and really explained the type of shots I was receiving and what they helped with, also the machine for the legs to reduce swelling and inflammation was great as well.

I purchased the Myofascial Release service for my husband as an early Valentine’s Day gift and he loved it! He gets massages regularly but this service was unique and hit the right areas with scrapping, cupping and all!

Whatever season you are in, athletic recovery, injury rehab or simple self care—Muscle Lab is the cheat code! I’ve been healing from a disc extrusion for 3.5 years (I declined surgery for personal reasons).

I am so grateful for the Muscle Lab! I lift 4x a week and so I get very sore and so I come to the Muscle Lab for recovery and stretching with Ari. Every time I have been here my experience has been beyond amazing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
