I have had 2 family members use Mountain Land PT. For my 86 y.o father they were phenomenal with balance. My teen son was also treated for sports needs with excellent results.
I had knee surgery on Dec. 29, 2022 and had my first visit to therapy on Jan 3, 2023. Of course it was a painful few weeks and I had therapy 3 times a week for the first 3 weeks, making progress, I was ecouraged by my therapists Erin and Becky, both were great to work with me.
Jan and Ray Gibbons. We have both been going to therapy together for the past few months but for different reasons. Jan still has a few more visits to go, but I just graduated. I had surgery on my shoulder for a torn rotator cuff and was referred to Mountain Land by a friend. I worked with Brian. He's the GREATEST!
Thanks Brian and staff in Kaysville!!! I separated my shoulder (level 3 separation) at Deer Valley on August 6th. I was biking Moab last Thursday October 17th:) So if you’re on the fence about whether it’s worth the money here’s my opinion. I saw an orthopedic surgeon initially and then for a follow up.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
