From the reviews
Sego Lily Spa atmosphere is soothing. The Bountiful and Layton locations have always been immaculate and welcoming. My massage was with Amanda this time. She was friendly, efficient and professional. She checked in with me to be sure the pressure was appropriate. My session was therapeutic and relaxing.
Amanda W. Is absolutely amazing! I always book with her for my massage appointments. I am a massage snob 😂 so when I say Amanda is amazing I absolutely mean it. When I moved to Utah 2.5 years ago I tried to find a good spa but all of the places were disappointing.
I'm disappointed we did not get the whole spa experience. We got there on time but there was a customer buying stuff and there was just one receptionist (which is understandable because it was 810pm) and the customer was taking her time with products (about 5-8 min).
Fantastic experience; the staff was very friendly and respectful, the massage was on point with Matthew, I fell asleep during it, I recommend the Rocky Mountain Stone, enjoyed the meditation room and the books they have, they had complimentary infused water and treats. It was nice to unplug for 2 and a half hours!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
