From the reviews

I’ve been getting deep tissue massages from Burgandy for three years now. I’m a house cleaner and at one point my right shoulder, right elbow and right wrist were just a mess with tendinitis all over. She worked with those issues and I got better much faster than I thought I would and I’m so grateful for her.

I've been seeing Burgandy for years, and she is absolutely amazing! She recently started her own business, and I couldn’t be more excited for her. She specializes in sports and deep tissue massage for me, and her technique is perfect.

Burgandy is a miracle worker. I started seeing her to help manage my scoliosis pain. Not only does she help relieve the pain I’m in, but she also thoroughly explains stretches and exercises to help maintain my back in-between visits.

★★★★★ — Felisha, Sep 2024

I can’t say enough great things about Burgandy! She is incredibly skilled and does an amazing job every single time! Unfortunately, my job takes a massive toll on my body and therapeutic massage is the only thing that helps!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
