From the reviews
I have loved my experience at Mountainland. Josh has been wonderful! He created a personal exercise plan for at home and in the office gives me personalized attention for my individual needs. Highly recommend.
Mitch has been my go to therapist for years. When he moved to this new practice, I followed. It is professional and friendly service, and the bottom line is that I have always had perfect outcomes.
Clinic is new and very clean. Lindy at the front desk welcomed me with a smile and took me back for my appointment. Mitch also greeted me with a smile and inquired as to how I was doing. While I warmed up Lindy got my equipment ready and had things prepared for me to start my exercises.
I had a total knee replacement a couple months ago. I started pt 4 days after surgery. So needless to say I was in a lot of pain. Mitch and his team were caring, understanding, and patient with me. They were honest with me up front that it would be hard work but they would be there with me through it all.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
