I found Miracle Thai after many disappointments from other massage businesses. This morning, I had a two hour Swedish massage, given by Jennifer. It was one of the best I ever had. She was amazing. It also included some great stretching, which was unexpected, but likewise was amazing.
Amazing Thai massage. I go consistently. They moved locations in July, 2025. Their new location is really beautiful. It's calm,. clean, quiet, and very convenient for me. It's right next to the Marlo furniture building on Rockville Pike / 355. All of the therapists I've seen are great at Thai massage!
The Spa has moved locations. The new place is amazing. Lots more space and beautiful and clean. I went with Lisa again and she did not disappoint. The warm towels and the stretching while massaging is incredibly effective for pain relief and relaxation.
My massage with Jasmine was absolutely amazing and so needed. From start to finish, it was such a relaxing and refreshing experience. Jasmine truly has magic hands — I left feeling lighter, calmer, and completely renewed. Definitely one of the best self-care moments I’ve had in a long time! Will be coming back!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
