From the reviews
My lower back has been painted for three years, especially in cold and rainy days, I have been visiting different acupuncturist, chiropractor and massage in Maryland.
Dr. Peng is very knowledgeable and very patient. Besides, I ordered only acupuncture while received acupuncture, hot stone, sucking cup, and brief massage. Way beyond expectation. Highly recommend!
I can not say enough about Dr. Peng. I went to several doctors who were unable to heal my plantar fasciitis which I have been struggling with for over 8 months. When I asked how long it would take to heal he said 3 months. We are working on week 7 and I am feeling better and better with each visit.
If I could give more than 5-star for my acupuncture experience with Dr. Peng I would! I immediately felt relief and so relaxed after the first treatment. Dr. Peng takes time to genuinely get to know my issues, concerns and has provided a customized plan that has proven so helpful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
