From the reviews

Michelle is great! I was a bit skeptical about acupuncture but figured I'd give it a try for some sleep issues and general relaxation. I am so glad I did!

I am so grateful to have found Michelle Racine. After moving to NH from NYC and leaving my trusted acupuncturist behind, I was worried I’d never find someone again who would be able to help me with my physical pain and mental/emotional stress. In a session with Michelle I feel truly heard, seen and cared for.

★★★★★ — Julia, Jan 2022

Michelle is an amazing healer! She treats the body, mind and soul. I've been seeing her for over 1.5 years. Initially she treated my wrist pain and tension headaches. I'd had acupuncture before and it helped some. Michelle's treatments balanced me in a way that none ever have.

★★★★★ — Rebecca, Jun 2023

I brought my daughter to see Michelle Racine for her lower back pain. She was very friendly and helpful. She asked lots of questions to try to figure out what was going on. She started working on my daughter then asked if I would like to try a stress relief treatment. She placed the needles in my ears.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
