From the reviews

I've been seeing Kate for years now and I can always count on her for pain relief and bonus learning. She is a dedicated therapist and happily shares her knowledge, which I love. Kate keeps it simple. She is a consummate professional and is firmly focused on her client's therapy.

First thing: hallelujah to find treatment from someone who continues to take COVID precautions so seriously! But on to the treatment: I've been seeing Kate for a couple of months now for neck and back pain and she's done wonders for me!

Kate saves my body and my sanity every week! She is so talented and caring and I always come out of my massages feeling restored and relaxed—not to mention without all the aches and pains I came in with!

★★★★★ — Rowan, Nov 2023

Suffering with fibromyalgia pain has had me quite down. I am very pleased with the techniques and pain relieving massage I received. I will be coming back. And recommending this to my friends.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
