From the reviews
This young lady has worked on my back and should using acupuncture and cupping and it really has made a big difference and after cupping today I feel great. Check her out she is the real deal!!
Medicine Rock is a great alternative to western medicine. I've used acupuncture for years. When I moved to the area last year, I immediately began a search for an acupuncturist. I'm so very happy I found Medicine Rock. Larissa Kempf provides a quality experience and has exceeded my expectations.
I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone who is interested in Traditional Medicine & Acupuncture. 🙂
I have been going to Medicine Rock Acupuncture since they first opened, and it has been nothing short of wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a sense of calm and care that immediately sets the tone for your visit.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
