From the reviews
…He used a combination of cupping, deep tissue and stretching to improve my muscle mobility. I feel completely amazing. I will continue coming back. Update: I continue to go to Aberdeen Massage and can also highly recommend Kiley!
I have been experiencing leg pain for about a year now. When the pain became unbearable, a friend recommended me to Russell. He was able to get me in quickly, and I began to feel relief after the first session. The sessions aren't always pain free; sometimes an aggressive approach is needed to make progress.
I am so grateful for Russell. I run and do CrossFit. In January I started having issues with my left leg. While working out in February, my knee popped and I was terrified it was my ACL. It wasn't but my leg was so tight that my hips were out of whack, creating more tension. Russell was amazing to work with.
Russell is extremely talented in his ability to tailor every therapy session to root out pain, repair injuries, and provide step by step explanations of what work he's doing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
