First of all there are NO malicious practices here! Just CHEAP people who don’t want to pay for services rendered. I wish I could hive them 10 stars! I have had lower back pain for 2 decades plus and 2 back surgeries in 2 years.
Amazing experience! Today was my first time getting acupuncture done and all I can say is that it was life changing. Dr. Shao is truly experienced in what he does and is almost magical. He was able to take away my anxiety along with other medical conditions that I deal with. I feel healed just by seeing him!
Today is my second visit to this facility and I feel like a totally new person. I was a bit sceptical about acupuncture but the pain in my hips, lower back and legs were becoming unbearable. I actually had an appointment to go see a surgeon but decided to try this instead. What a difference it has made.
I initially came here for my ongoing eyelid muscle spasms that I experienced since October, and left my first appointment with my mom having booked her own session with the doctor for her years of migraines and shoulder pain. Needless to say, after my 2nd session my eyelid spasms have not returned!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
