Tiffany Pohlhammer is an experienced professional masseuse. We have been her clients for approximately 5 years. We live outside of her area so she travels to our home for our massages. She always consults with us if there are any concerned areas that she needs to focus on before she starts a session.
I kinda don't want to pay anything cause it was so nice and I appreciate how good they are at treating my neck and I just want them as that hidden gem. But I want them to be successful too so yes they're awesome and I have a huge degree of respect for how good they are.
Tiffany was caring and compassionate throughout the whole process as I was new to massage and she helped me identify areas of pain that I was dealing with. She even took the time after to show me stretches that I can work on to help. I will be back for sure.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
