From the reviews
From the very first session, I felt extremely comfortable and supported. Carley takes the time to truly listen to your concerns, and I always feel like I'm in good hands. The treatments are not only relaxing but have made a noticeable difference in my chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, and so much more.
I love going to Dr. Carley! She takes time, listens to what is bothering you, symptoms, etc to really hone in on how to help you! The acupuncture is almost completely painless, cupping is an amazing addition and always a great experience for me!
Acupuncture has been an important part of my self care and healthcare. It allows my whole body to be addressed in a session. Dr. Carly takes my health history and symptoms and applies acupuncture needles to points on my body to treat these concerns. She treats many conditions from head to feet.
Dr Jenssen is fantastic. My joints and muscles are feeling the burden of marathon training (and life in general). I decided to give acupuncture a try and was amazed at the results. I’ve used it in the past for other things but had no idea how much it would help with this.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
