From the reviews
I've been to this place 2 times now. And there's a reason. Clean, friendly, good service. And in my opinion, competitively priced with other places in the surrounding State College area. I recently experienced the Cupping treatment (my first time ever having that treatment) and it was quite the experience.
I drive by this place all the time when I go shopping & I seen they take walk-ins (I waited no longer then 20 mins...they had clients) so I went to give it a try. The BEST decision I made! Katie listened to my wants/needs. She was friendly & gave me the BEST massage I've experienced. I walked out feeling brand NEW!
My friend and I were traveling here. After a 5-hour flight, I was really exhausted, and then one of my another friend recommended this place to me. I was greeted by a lady named Mingming, who was very friendly, and the shop was very clean. Her massage skill was awesome!!!!!
Ming/Katie is a wonderful masseuse! Her place is nice and clean. She's very friendly. Asks how you like the pressure before she gets started. Very attentive and focuses on pain points. She offers snacks/water after the session. Can't wait to go back again!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
