From the reviews

I can’t say enough good things Happy Valley Bodyworks! My four year old daughter has Down Syndrome and is developmentally delayed in part due to retained primitive reflexes. It’s been difficult finding like-minded people to assist us and Kelly has been such a blessing to work with.

Kelly Saxton came to me as a recommendation and I’m SO grateful to have found her!! I initially saw Kelly because my neck was “stuck” and causing a lot of pain/discomfort. Kelly introduced me to Visceral Manipulation during this visit, and between that and some massage, I instantly received relief!!

I have always had a very positive experience with Happy Valley Bodyworks. If you have the chance, you have to go here and experience their knowledge, expertise, and healing hands. Besides the massage, what's also recommended is their Reiki and Craniosacral work.

★★★★★ — Kimberly, Apr 2024

My daughter with an autoimmune condition that causes neurological symptoms began using the hyperbaric chamber about 3 months ago. With just two hours in the chamber per week, she has been making remarkable progress. We noticed improvement after the first two sessions and she has continued to make enormous gains since!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
