Although the building appears very humble from the outside, the therapists inside have great skill and interest in helping people feel real relief from chronic pain, tension causing headaches and migraines, and overall soreness from old or new injuries that have led to physical limitations.
Pepper is amazing. I want to say she's magic but it's too precise and generous to be magic. She is a healer. I can feel myself healing emotionally and physically when she massages me. She pulls the pain out of me and teaches me to keep it out.
So happy I found this gem. This is the cutest little spa, they have some really neat products available for sale. They also feature art from local artists. Audrey took really great care of me and my knotted muscles. Can’t wait for my next appointment!
Audrey is amazing. Perfect amount of pressure. I had some pretty gnarly neck tension, causing a lingering headache, but now I feel like a wet noodle, in the best way! :) 10/10 would recommend. Neck tension completely gone. Genuinely impressed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
