From the reviews
Immediate relief! Chris REALLY knows anatomy & science and is a skilled, professional massage therapist. His deep tissue work is healing and targeted to what your body needs; I especially enjoy the healing modality add ons such as cupping, fascia work & trigger point therapy. Highly recommended. Thank you, Chris!
I've been to Chris 3 or 4 times now, and I could not be happier with the results. He's always able to work out any knots and trigger points, and he provides recommendations of exercises I can do to help resolve any issues I'm having.
Massage and Motion is truly outstanding! Christopher did an incredible job addressing my headache and TMJ pain. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and tailored the massage perfectly to relieve my tension. I felt completely comfortable throughout the session, and the office was spotless and welcoming.
Chris is amazing at his career! He took me in as a first time patient when I needed to be seen asap and changed his schedule just to help me! I can’t recommend him enough, he got me on the road to recovery and sped my healing up so much! Wonderful person! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
