From the reviews

My initial evaluation appointment this morning with Dr. James Bogdanovich was excellent! My husband and I were very impressed with his knowledge and how well he explained the exercises and their Physical Therapy process. We felt listened to and had all of our questions answered thoroughly.

I have been going to Marketplace Therapy for several months and have had a wonderful experience at Marketplace. Starting with Alexis at the front desk to Dr. Dess and her amazing staff of caring wonderful people. Eric and Danica are 2 of my favorite.

★★★★★ — Jackie, Nov 2025

The attention and interest they give their patients in returning to normality again! Because a disability as a person makes us feel sad and insecure. Thank you Marketplace I recommend Marketplace to anyone who needs help feeling better and getting back to their daily activities!

★★★★★ — Ana, Jul 2025

I have been in therapy for a total knee replacement since October. I reached a plato the first of December with no progress for three weeks. I was very discouraged. I tried four different therapist before I decided to let James do all my treatments.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
