From the reviews
I really enjoy coming to this appointment; I feel very relaxed, and treated with respect and kindness. I was very surprised NOT to feel the acupuncture needles going in or coming out! I loved the cupping too, and thought it was fun to have mild bruising as evidence of treatment.
5 stars recommend this location!!! I recently was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy and looked at acupuncture places near my work and found Chino Acupuncture and Herbs Clinic with great reviews. I went in and the doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Dr. Anton Lin and Dr. Y.H, Miranda Wang Are more than amazing. My mom was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) and due to that she suffers with lower spine and lower back pain that would reach a pain threshold of 10+.
A year ago I visited Dr Lin for my anxiety and insomnia, long story short, I purchased 5 sessions with him and didn't come back after the 3rd one until a year after. Yes, my 2 year-long insomnia was fixed within 3 sessions!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
