From the reviews

My son went to Mangrum for a back injury and we were thoroughly satisfied with the superb care he received there. Dr. Mangrum provides a wide range of services that my son was able to take advantage of. In addition to PT, he was able to be treated with acupuncture and cupping.

I have been under Dr. Adio's care now for a little over 3 months. While my pain has not completely subsided, I can say that my range of movement and mobility in my shoulder has gotten better. Dr. Adio listens attentively to each of his patient's needs and you can tell that he truly cares about our wellbeing.

I can’t recommend Mangrum Physical Therapy highly enough. I came in with ongoing knee issues that were limiting my mobility and affecting my daily life. From day one, the team was professional, welcoming, and clearly committed to helping me get better.

Finding Mangrum PT was truly such a Godsend! After tearing my achilles, I was struggling to find a physical therapist that was close by and not just a part of a larger corporation (as previous experiences in that setting were unhelpful and dismissive). Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
