From the reviews
After my liposuction, I was looking for a specialized recovery clinic in the Wilshire and Doheny area that truly understood the nuances of post-op care. I found Lymphyx at 9150 Wilshire Blvd and, after hearing glowing recommendations from several Beverly Hills plastic surgeons, I decided to invest in her $900 package…
I recently visited this spa for a lymphatic massage, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The space was calm, clean, and welcoming but what truly stood out was how knowledgeable and professional the therapist was.
Juanita is absolutely amazing. Her hands are healing in every sense of the word. I had arm lipo and began my post-op massages with her on day 4, and I truly believe my recovery went as smoothly and quickly as it did because of her. She made me feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout the process.
If you are looking for great lymphatic massage, look no further. Juanita is truly the best. She is very knowledgeable and gives great recommendations for better results. I feel very comfortable and honestly I look forward to all my massages. By the way she also sells excellent compression fajas.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
