From the reviews

Ariel is a pro. I visited her after dealing with swollen ankles frequently on an international trip. While the swelling had gone down by the time I got to Ariel, she spent time teaching me how lymphatic massage works, and how it could help me on future international flights.

Ariel was so professional, had so much knowledge of what to do to help me and was kind enough to go through the things that I could do at home to help me until our next appt on Friday! It all worked perfectly! If you haven't met her yet, you should seek her out! I know that you will appreciate her as much as I do!

Ariel offers injury massage and lymphatic massage. She helped relieve my muscle pain from a back injury. She easily dialed in the perfect pressure and found my pain points. Her lymph massage was an added bonus, helping to boost my immune system. What a great resource when you need to recover quickly from injury!

Had a massage today with Cohen Injury Massage because I've been having chronic pain and tightness under my shoulder blade, traps, neck and chest areas. After a one hour session I'm feeling amazing relief and the pain has subsided tremendously. Thank you Ariel! I will be booking another appointment in the future.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
